We fade in to an empty arena. We see Jonathan Cage standing in the middle of the ring. A spotlight hits him.
Cage: "Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Phoenix Wrestling. Tonight we will have our first ever show which is entitled Rising. Now you will see athletes doing what they do best...wrestle. Not like these other companies that sit there and try to entertain you. We're all about the wrestling which will entertain you. So Enjoy the show."
With that said we see the Phoenix Wrestling logo come up on screen. Then we fade in to that same arena this time filled with fans. We see our ring announcer Abigail Copeland standing in the middle of the ring.
Abigail Copeland: "Ladies and gentleman, here to perform the theme song to Rising...Seether!!"
With that the boys from Seether step out onto the entrance ramp. They begin to play "Rise Above This"
They finish their set and the equipment is removed. Then it's back to Abigail for the opening contest.
Abigail Copeland: The opening contest is scheduled for one fall…
With those words “Southern Thang” by Cloroks comes over the speakers signaling the arrival of the most unique superstar in Phoenix Wrestling, Kevin Sparx. He saunters to the ring, slides in, and goes to his corner to await the arrival of his opponent. After what seems like an eternity, “Glamorous” by Fergie blasts the PA system. Kaia Kologne steps out from behind the curtain to a decent reception from this Japanese crowd. She struts her way down to the ring and slides in all the while keeping her eyes on Sparx.
The referee signals for the bell and we are underway here. The two come to the center of the ring and stare each other down. With Sparx being much taller than Kologne he towers over her. She reaches up and slaps the taste out of his mouth which forces him to step back a bit. He wipes his mouth then charges. Kaia ducks and nails a drop toehold sending him face first to the canvas. This is where she takes control. She mounts him and starts slugging away at his face. Sparx does his best to cover up and defend himself but to no avail. The referee has to pull her off of him before the count of five.
She attempts to repeat the process but he uses his power and pushes her off of him. He stands up as she charges him. He lifts her up and hits a running power slam. She crumples in a heap while arching and holding her lower back. He sees this as his opportunity. He turns her over and sits in on a camel clutch. Kaia screams out in pain as Sparx wrenches on her neck while sitting lower and lower. After what seemed to be an eternity to Kaia, she manages to get to the ropes by using her power to drive her. He releases the hold at the count of four as Kaia starts using the ropes to help herself up. This is when the tide started to turn in her favor. Sparx charges and she catches him with a kick to the kneecaps. He buckles to the ground when she kicks him in the head. He crumples to the canvas as she climbs to the middle turnbuckle. She jumps off and connects with an elbow to the face.
She stands up as he is getting to his knees. She backs up looking to connect with another vicious kick to the head. She starts but is tripped up by Jenny Owens. Kaia turns around and tries to swipe at Owens. This is the distraction that Sparx needs as he nails her in the back. She grimaces and Sparx hits her with the Ignition. He covers her and gets his first victory in Phoenix Wrestling.
As Sparx is leaving, Jenny Owens slides into the ring and starts going to town on Kologne. Owens wails on Kaia with rights and lefts. Then as if something had struck a chord in Kaia, she throws Jenny off of her. Right as Alyson Starr’s running in to make the save. The two of them stare a hole into Owens as Jenny drops down and rolls out of the ring. She backs up the entrance ramp while still keeping eye contact with Starr and Kologne.
Winner: Kevin Sparx (15:32)
The commentators comment on the last match then we go to Abigail once again for the next match.
Abigail Copeland: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall…”
With that “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne starts up to signal the arrival of former UX superstar Tony Edison. He walks down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the Osaka crowd. He slides into the ring and goes to his corner awaiting his opponent. Then as if on cue, “Instigator” by Kaci Brown hits signaling the arrival of Alyson Starr-Cage She comes down to the ring while interacting with the crowd. She climbs in and goes to her corner. The referee signals for the bell.
And with that we start the contest. A lot of fast paced action early on with Tony getting the upper hand over the much smaller Alyson. This is where Tony starts to use what power he does have to keep Alyson on the ground. He uses his technical prowess to work on the legs of Alyson. Which worked out great for him until he made the huge mistake of missing a running shoulder block in the corner which drove his shoulder into the steel ring post.
This gave Alyson the opportunity she needed. First, she hit him with the Seeing Starrs which she quickly transitioned into the Shooting Starr. Thus leading to a pinfall victory giving her that always needed first victory here in Phoenix Wrestling.
Winner: Alyson Starr-Cage (8:56)
The process is repeated yet again as we go to Abigail to make the introductions for the Main Event.
Abigail Copeland: "The following contest is your main event of the evening…"
“Ten Ton Brick” by Hurt plays over the PA system signaling the arrival of one half of team number one, Antonio Profaci. He walks out ignoring the Japanese fans as he makes his way into the ring. He goes to his corner and waits for his partner. About a couple seconds later, “Chop Suey” by System of a Down plays and Adam Cage comes walking out to a decent ovation from the crowd. He gets into the ring and goes over to Profaci. The two start talking strategy while awaiting the arrival of their opponents.
The silence is broken by “More Human Than Human” by White Zombie playing over the speakers signaling the arrival of Brandon O’Neal and Insomniac also known as Damage Control. The fans respond because they know these guys from their reputation in another company. They walk out and interact with the fans as they slide into the ring. They talk strategy and decide that Brandon O’Neal will start against Adam Cage.
The referee calls for the bell and the two men meet in the center of the ring. They lock up with Cage getting the upper hand. He backs Brandon into the ropes and the ref calls for the clean break. As they break Cage scores with a cheap shot to the midsection. Brandon doubles over as Cage lands a clothesline that sends him down to the canvas. Cage picks up O’Neal and drags him to the corner where he makes the tag to his partner Antonio Profaci. He gets in the ring and goes to work on the midsection of O’Neal. He throws him into the turnbuckle and starts to deliver shoulder blocks to the already hurt midsection. Insomniac is going crazy over in the corner as O’Neal’s basically getting manhandled by the team of Cage and Profaci.
Then the tide turns as O’Neal scores with a devastating DDT to Profaci. It now becomes a race to the corners. As Profaci gets there first but O’Neal follows suit as Insomniac comes rushing into the ring with guns blazing. He scores with lefts and rights on Cage then nails a clothesline that sends Profaci to the outside. He throws Cage into the ropes where he lands a standing frakensteiner he holds on to the hold for a pinfall but Cage kicks out at the count of two. Insomniac seizes the opportunity to set up for his Acid Drop finishing maneuver. He attempts it but as he finishes the second rotation Cage hit’s the Cage Rush out of nowhere. He pins him and gets the three count. Cage stands up and celebrates in the middle of the ring. Brandon O’Neal slides in behind Cage turns him around and hits the Ego Trip. He stands over Cage then decides to leave the ring as he helps his partner to the back as Rising goes off the air.
Winners: Adam Cage and Antonio Profaci (20:05)

Take the light, undarken everything around me
Call the clowns and listen closely, i'm lost without you
Call your name every day when i feel so helpless
I'm fallin' down but i'll rise above this, rise above this
Hate the mind, regrets are better left unspoken
For all we know, this void will grow and
Everything's in vain, distressing you though it leaves me open
Feels so right, but i'll end this all before it gets me
Call your name every day, when i feel so helpless
I'm fallin' down, but i'll rise above this, rise above this
Call your name every day, when i seem so helpless
I'm fallin' down, but i'll rise above this, rise above this doubt
I'll mend myself before it gets me
(i'll mend myself before it gets me)
I'll mend myself before it gets me
(i'll mend myself before it gets me)
Call your name every day, when i feel so helpless
I'm fallin' down, but i'll rise above this, rise above this
Call your name every day, when i seem so helpless
I'm fallin' down, but i'll rise above this, rise above this
Forty eight ways to say that i'm feelin' helpless
Fallin' down, fallin down', but i'll rise above this, rise above this
Call the clowns and listen closely, i'm lost without you
Call your name every day when i feel so helpless
