All of sudden, the screen cuts to white noise. A voice comes over the airwaves to address the fans.
V/O: “Ladies and gentleman, what you’re about to experience is the new revolution of professional wrestling.”
Then the white noise shifts to the PWI logo surrounded in flames. We start to hear the sounds of “In The End” by Black Veil Brides as the logo explodes off the screen. We see footage of atomic bombs being set off and houses being blown away by the force. Then we see footage of scientists explaining chemical formulas to other scientists. That is followed by the floating PWI logo and another explosion of the screen.
We fade into to buzzing Richmond Coliseum as the spotlights are circling the arena as the theme to Sunday Night Fusion plays over the speakers. The fans are buzzing in anticipation as we fade into a shot of our commentary team Devin Camp and Jason Richardson.
Jason Richardson: “Welcome everyone to the first installment of Sunday Night Fusion. I’m Jason Richardson coming to you live from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. And to my right is my partner in this shindig, Devin Camp.”
Devin casts a weird looking smile.
Devin Camp: “Shindig, are you retarded Jason?”
Jason Richardson: “DUDE!”
Devin Camp: “What?”
Jason Richardson: “You can’t say retarded. It’s not politically correct.”
Devin Camp: “Dude, we’re on Showtime for fuck sake. Anyways, let’s go to the sexiest piece of ass we have here, Abigail Copeland.”
We cut to Abigail Copeland standing in the middle of the ring with a smile on her face.
Abigail Copeland: “Ladies and Gentleman, I’m proud to introduce to you the founder of Phoenix Wrestling Incorporated, eWo superstar ‘The Eternal’ JONATHAN CAGE!!!”
“Forget to Remember” by Mudvayne plays over the speakers as the PWI founder steps out from behind the curtain to a mixed reaction, mainly due to his eWo reputation. He is wearing a black suit with his hair tied back in a ponytail. He calmly walks down the ramp and enters the ring. Abigail hugs her friend Jonathan as she hands him the microphone.
Jonathan Cage: “Thank you, Abigail. You know it’s pretty fucking bittersweet that my dream of this company getting off the ground again is starting to come true. Yet, I’m not the only one who made this happen. First off, all of you made this happen…”
A beat while the fans cheer.
Jonathan Cage: “…and secondly, it was thanks to the man I sold my company to. This will be the first and last time that you will see Jonathan Cage in a PWI ring. And now, I introduce to you the new owner of Phoenix Wrestling Incorporated. My cousin, ERIK DAFOE!”
“Bitter Sweet Symphony” by The Verve begins to play as Erik Dafoe steps out from behind the curtain to a standing ovation. He’s wearing a black suit with white pinstripes and sunglasses adorn his face. He walks down the ramp with arms extended touching the fans. He then climbs into the ring and embraces with his cousin who hands him the microphone. “Bitter Sweet Symphony” fading away.
Erik Dafoe: “Thank you Jonathan. Richmond, Virginia, how the FUCK ARE YA?!”
The fans go nuts after the cheap pop.
Erik Dafoe: “That’s great because we’ve got a great show lined up for you tonight as this is the start of the tournament to determine the first ever PWI Champion. Now there will be some names you’re familiar with and there will be some you won’t be familiar with. But I indulge you to pay attention because you will know their names in time. Now then let’s kick this thing off right, shall we. Because this is PWI…”
A beat.
Erik Dafoe: “We wrestle, motherfuckers.”
“Bitter Sweet Symphony” plays as Dafoe hands the microphone back to Abigail and leaves the ring.
Abigail Copeland: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a first round contest in the PWI title tournament. Introducing first he hails from Brooklyn, NY and weighs in at 280 lbs. 'Big Daddy' Jon Tees!"
“Master Of Puppets” by Metallica hits and Jon Tees steps through the curtain to immediate boos from the crowd. Younger children look on with a mixture of fear, astonishment and respect while older fans range from cheering to booing and shouting obscenities. Tees continues down the aisle toward the ringside area paying little to no mind to the fans he steps over the top rope and get ready to take care of business.
Devin Camp: "Tees looking bigger and badder than he’s ever looked before."
Jason Richardson: "He also looks as though he’s in a foul mood which means Mesterio Raine is in for an unpleasant evening."
Abigail Copeland: "And his opponent from Chicago, IL and weighing in at 255 lbs. He is being accompanied by Lilith. 'The Final Fate' Mesterio Raine."
‘Ghostwalking’ by Lamb of God hits and Mesterio Raine makes his way out to a mixed reaction. Lilith gets a few cheers and is looking as lovely as ever. Raine enters the ring and she takes her place at ringside.
The bell sounds Tees starts things off with a thumb to the eye followed by a big boot. He attempts a snake eyes but Raine gets out of it and sends Tees head first into the turnbuckle. Raine connects with a back suplex off of the top turnbuckle and attempts an early pin but Tees gets the shoulder up. Tees rolls out to the floor and Raine follows out after him. He attempts to ram Tees into the guardrail but Tees counters drops Raine throat first across it. He rolls Raine back into the ring and really begins putting the boots to him. Tees nails several consecutive elbow drops and goes for a cover but Raine kicks out at two. Tees attempts to pick Raine up but Raine connects with a low blow and follows up with a small package. Tees and Raine reverse this move several times each getting near fall until Tees finally breaks out of it. Raine connects with a DDT followed up with a drop kick to the face.
Jason Richardson: "This is an incredible back and forth match so far."
Devin Camp: "I couldn’t agree with you more."
Raine attempts a lionsault but Tees gets his knees up. Tees proceeds to pick Raine up in fallaway slam position only instead nails multiple back breakers repeatedly dropping Raine’s lower back across his knee. He takes Raine to the outside and attempts to slam him down on the steel steps but Raine counters out and rams Tees head first into the steps and then the ring post busting him open. Raine and Tees head over to the announce table and each man takes turns slamming the other man’s head into the table. Tees attempts to jackknife power bomb Raine through the table but Raine counters into a back body drop. The table doesn’t break so Raine picks Tees up and attempts to power bomb him but Tees like Raine before him counters into a back body drop only this time the entire table breaks sending both men through it at the same time.
Jason Richardson: "Our announce table has been completely destroyed."
Devin Camp: "Thanks, Captain Obvious."
The ref has been counting all of this time and is up to about an eight count. Both men begin stirring and barely make it back into the ring on nine. Tees connects with a lariat nailing Raine right in the head with it. Only stead of going for a cover he locks in the Sin City Crab right in the middle of the ring. Raine is in the center of the ring and appears to be far removed from the ropes. But Lilith and several of the fans cheer him on willing him to drag himself with Tees on his back over to the ropes forcing the break.
Jason Richardson: "Awesome match."
Tees attempts to follow up with a heal hook but Raine catches his leg and nails a knee breaker. Raine attempts a single leg crab and locks it in. Tees although tired is too close to the ropes and forces the break. Raine climbs to the top rope and attempts a double stomp he barely misses and Tees follows up with the The Garotte once more in the center of the ring.
Jason Richardson: "I think Tees may have this match here I don’t see how Raine could escape this move at this point in the match."
Devin Camp: "But he is Mesterio Raine, that’s what you’re forgetting."
With the ref distracted checking on Raine, Lilith manages to spray something in Tees’ eyes from the floor. Tees is forced to release the hold as his eyes burn like a bitch and he can’t see. With Tees blinded Raine nails a back stabber and attempts a cover but Tees again kicks out. Raine sets up for the Raine of Blood but Tees counters out and places Raine in position for a top rope power bomb. He connects with one and again goes for the cover 1...2...no! Raine barely kicks out. Frustrated Tees begins pounding away on Raine with stiff rights and lefts. The two men begin brawling back and forth and Tees to gain an edge kicks Raine squarely in the balls. He nails the gateway to hell and attempts a cover but again Raine kicks out. He goes for the heart punch but Raine blocks it and locks in a cross arm breaker in the center of the ring. Although in pain Tees manages to get to the ropes with his foot due to his massively long legs. The ref forces the break and puts a count on a frustrated Raine. As Raine is arguing with the ref Tees sets up and nails The Tees driver. He has Raine defeated when all of a sudden “Killing In The Name Of” hits the speakers. This distracts Tees causing him to look around the arena expecting the arrival of a certain someone. As Tees turns back around he is met with the Demonic Awakenings Raine covers and the ref counts 1...2...3! Raine has won this epic battle.
Abigail Copeland: "Here is your winner via pinfall and advancing in the tournament Mesterio Raine!"
Jason Richardson: "This match was one for the ages.
Devin Camp: "But what the hell happened at the end whose music was that and why did it bother Tees?"
Jason Richardson: "Who knows the guy has a lot of enemies and rubs mostly everyone he meets the wrong way."
Raine and Lilith celebrate as Tees gets checked on by the ref. Raine also appears to have some battle wounds as he seems to need Lilith’s assistance to stand. ‘Ghostwalking’ by Lamb of God blares throughout the arena.

PWI Title Tournament Round One
Amelie Guerrero
vs.
Mr. Goldstein
Abigail Copeland: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is first round match up in the PWI title tournament. Introducing first from El Paso Texas she weighs in at 117 lbs. “The Latin Rose” Amelie Guerrero!"
“Jai Ho” by the Pussycat Dolls hits the P.A. and The Latina Rose comes bursting from behind the curtain. As she walks down the ramp rose pedals rain down blanketing the ramp and the ring canvas. When Amelie reaches the ring she streches with her back against the ropes flips backwards over the ropes then comes to a kneeling position . . . a moment later she lays in the middle of the ring smelling the rose pedals while awaiting Mr. Goldstein.
Abigail Copeland: "And her opponent making his winter residence in San José, Costa Rica he weighs in at 245 lbs. “The Undisputable” Mr. Goldstein!"
“Beethoven’s 5th” hits and the crowd instantly erupts in a chorus of boos. Mr. Goldstein makes his way out along with Jon Tees. Goldstein is sporting a solid gold robe. He walks down the aisle gazing upon the fans with a look of disdain and arrogance as though he is better than them. Many of them try and touch him but he simply brushes them off and continues his march toward the ringside area as the music plays. Goldstein enters the ring and removes his robe. He gives it to the ring attendant with strict instructions that if anything happens to his robe something sure is hell is going to happen to them. He awaits the bell… as Tees takes his place at ringside.
Jason Richardson: "This should be interesting Mr. Goldstein has been undefeated for the last 20 or so years an unprecedented accomplishment if you ask me."
Devin Camp: "Well that’s the thing no one really asked you. This Amelie Guerrero is a real spit fire and is representing the legendary Guerrero family."
The bell sounds and the match is underway. Amelie and Goldstein lock up and Goldstein gets the upper hand slamming Amelie to the mat. She gets up and he slaps her on the ass. Angry she slaps him across the face and kicks him in the balls. Goldstein cries out in pain as Amelie follows up with a flying arm drag followed by several rights and lefts.
Jason Richardson: "Amelie is really taking it to Goldstein"
Just as the announcer says this Goldstein kicks Amelie off as she attempts to lock in a cross arm breaker. She heads into the corner and Goldstein lays into her with some knife edge chops causing her to scream and cry out in pain. He begins paint brushing her face with shots which draws the ire of the crowd. Goldstein tosses Amelie to the ground like a rag doll and nails several stiff elbow shots to the head. Amelie no longer appears to be fighting back and Goldstein begins targeting her legs dropping elbows on them and nailing a knee breaker. He climbs to the top rope and attempts a stiff diving elbow but she rolls out of the way and counters with a school girl. Goldstein kicks out at two and throws Amelie into the ropes. He attempts a lariat but she counters into a hurricanrana, she goes for a crucifix pin but Goldstein falls backwards. Goldstein than promptly applies the figure four in the center of the ring. With no where to go and no way out of this predicament Amelie is forced to tap out. Goldstein is awarded the victory. He celebrates with Tees as Beethoven’s 5th plays again.
Abigail Copeland: "Here is your winner via submission Mr. Goldstein!"
Jason Richardson: "Goldstein wins in a dominate debut."
Devin Camp: I wouldn’t say he dominated he got the win in a competitive match but when push comes to shove he beat a woman who he outweighed by over 100lbs. it’s a no win situation him beating the woman means nothing, and had he lost it would have been the ultimate humiliation so Goldstein figured he might as well win and advance in this tournament.
Goldstein and Tees continue to celebrate a little bit before they exit the ringside area.

Stalker Knight II
vs.
Das Ungeheuer
Abigail Copeland: "The following contest scheduled for one fall is another Round One match in the PWI title tournamen. Introducing first from Vancouver, BC, weighing in at 280 lbs. This is STALKER KNIGHT II"
"Stalker (Master's Solumn Hour)" plays over the speakers as Stalker Knight II comes out from behind the curtain. He makes it about halfway down the ramp when he is abruptly attacked by his opponent with an elbow to the back of his head. Knight goes rolling down the ramp as Das Ungeheuer stalks his prey.
Jason Richardson: "What the hell was that all about? That was a blatant cheap shot."
Devin Camp: "Fuck yeah, now this show has gotten good. The violence has picked up."
Ungeheuer picks Knight up and proceeds to launch him into the steel steps. The top half of the stairs go flying. Knight writhes in pain as The Monster picks him up by the legs and swings him into the guardrail. Knight hits the ground with a thump. Ungeheuer grabs Knight and finally puts him into the ring.
Jason Richardson: "This one finally enters the ring."
Ungeheuer lifts up Knight onto his shoulder and lands the Death Dealer. Knight's body goes limp as he hits the mat. He covers him nonchalantly. 1...2...3! The ref signals for the bell.
Abigail Copeland: "Here is your winner...Das.."
She is cut off by "Bitter Sweet Symphony" as Erik Dafoe appears at the top of the ramp. His music cuts as he stares a hole into The Monster.
Erik Dafoe: "Congratulations Monster, you have moved on in the tournament. Yet it seems that your family has been doing somethings around here to claim their spot. A beat.
Erik Dafoe: "And as for you...you will be taking on someone you know very well. 'Motherfuckin' Tony Steele. See you next week, kid."
"Bitter Sweet Symphony" hits as Dafoe cracks a smile towards Das Ungeheuer as the Monster shakes with anger. The PWI logo appears at the bottom left hand corner of the screen and we fade out.
